From Latin clarĭtas, clarity is the clear quality (clean, bathed in light, which is well distinguished, evident, manifest). The concept may refer to effect that produces the light When it illuminates a space. For example: “I like this house: there is a lot of clarity in the rooms”, “We have to improve the lighting in this room, it takes more clarity to work comfortably”, "Winter came and the moments of clarity began to die out as the days grew shorter and shorter".
It should also be stressed that clarity is the good reputation that exists in a society or in a certain place about a specific person. She has achieved it thanks to her personality and the actions she has been carrying out in her life.
Clarity is also the distinction with which, through the senses, a person perceive sensations or ideas: “I did not clearly understand what he wanted to tell me”, “Upon entering the house, he seemed to perceive a familiar aroma, although he could not detect it clearly”, "The writer spoke with amazing clarity on an extremely complex subject".
In this sense, we must not forget that, in the usual way, an expression is used that uses the term clarity and that is frequent within the colloquial scope. It is what is known as meridian clarity. With it, what tries to express itself is that the idea or manifestation that is being approached is perfectly understood.
An example of this meaning would be the following sentence: “The teacher explained point by point the arguments of the topic with a clear clarity. That meant that all students understood perfectly. ”
A clear expression is that easy to understand and intelligible . It can be linked both to the tone of voice and pronunciation, and to the way in which thoughts are organized to inform them of others: "By having his mouth swollen from the blow, the boy could not express himself clearly", “I prefer to think what I am going to say in order to express myself clearly”, “A teacher must be able to transmit knowledge clearly”.
In the same way, we must also underline the existence of what is known as the clarity index. This is a term used in the scientific field to refer to the relationship between what would be solar irradiation on a horizontal surface that is outside the atmosphere in a year and irradiation on a surface of similar characteristics but that is on Earth.
In the field of astronomy it is where this term is most used that we have mentioned that, therefore, is used to carry out what is the measurement of the transparency that the atmosphere has.
"Clarity" Finally, it was the name chosen for various publications throughout history and in different countries, such as a Spanish newspaper, a Puerto Rican weekly newspaper, a Chilean magazine and an Argentine publishing house.
